Loralee McGuirl


Lyric Soprano, Loralee McGuirl has performed in Canada, the United States, and Europe.  Violetta (LA TRAVIATTA), Pamina (THE MAGIC FLUTE), Juliette (ROMEO ET JULIETTE), Baby Doe (THE BALLAD OF BABY DOE), Margarita (FAUST), Gilda (RIGOLETTO), Musetta (LA BOHEME) Manon (MANON), and Susanna (THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO) are among the many types of roles she sings.

She has performed with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, Opera Hamilton, Mississauga’s Windmill Theatre, numerous solo recitals and Opera Gala’s. She has also been a soloist in Handel’s Messiah and has been invited as the featured performer for events honouring Lincoln Alexander, former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, and Hazel McCallum, Mayor of Mississauga.  She was one of the winners of the 2011 Metropolitan Opera, National Council Auditions.
